  • Mon 10/21:  Turn in Speciation Worksheet.  Questions on Hardy-Weinberg Packet?  Turn in today or Wednesday.  Overview of human evolution.  Radiometric dating.  Problems with the fossil record.  Humans as mammals and primates.  Cultural evolution versus biological evolution. Read 25.2.
  • Wed 10/23:  Beak of the Finch quiz on Chapters 7-9.  Working with Hominid skull replicas.  Take careful measurements of different aspects of each of the skulls.  Read 34.7 and 34.8.
  • Fri 10/25:  Phylogeny of the Hominid skulls.  Complete Skulls hand-out and turn in.  Changes in diet and changes in brain size of humans.  Last Beak quiz (Chapters 10-12) on Wed 10/30.
Heads up!  We will be going on a Field Trip on December 9th to a Legacy Emmanuel facility where we will view a preserved human cadaver to learn about human anatomy.
